FileBridge (“we”, “our”, or “us”), operated by Dapps (Denmark, CVR 39646501), is a native macOS file manager. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data across the FileBridge app and website. In short: the app collects nothing, and the website uses privacy-focused, cookieless analytics.

1. The App Collects No Data

The FileBridge macOS app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. Your files, folders, remote storage credentials, and Workspaces never leave your Mac except to connect directly to the remote services you configure. We operate no servers that receive your data, and we cannot see your files or how you use the app.

2. Website Analytics

Our website uses privacy-focused, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views and referrers. These analytics do not set cookies, do not track you across sites, do not collect personal information, and do not build a profile of you. We do not sell or share this data for advertising.

3. Information You Provide

If you contact us by email or purchase a license, we (or our payment processor) may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and purchase details. We use it solely to respond to you and to fulfill and support your purchase.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any local storage used is limited to essential functionality, such as remembering your light or dark theme preference.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising. Payment processing and app distribution may be handled by third parties (for example the Mac App Store or a payment provider) under their own privacy policies.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

Where we process the limited personal data you provide (such as support emails or purchases), we rely, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving FileBridge.

We retain the limited data you provide, such as support correspondence and purchase records, only as long as necessary for the purpose it was provided or as required by law.
